Traditions of motion pictures are conceptually superimposed to graphically explore the resulting interference pattern. Both image and sound of film is handmade entirely without cameras by tape slice collage and photocopy directly onto 16mm leader. Elements include wrappers for Sight and Sound magazine, 19th century optical toy imagery, and halftoned movie stills. |
